I am a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice, licensed to care for people with special needs.

 

I graduated with honors from the Taft College- Dental Hygiene Program. I then enrolled at University of the Pacific and earned my Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice.

 

I started practicing dentistry in 2013. I have provided services to children, adults, elderly, and disability, boarding care, home-bound and seniors comprise.

​

I am a trusted, caring provider of preventive dental hygiene care to many patients who were fearful in the past. Making people comfortable and relaxed is the heart and soul of my mission.

​

I really enjoy what I do. I offer my patients quality dental care in a way that is pain-free. I am passionate about helping to educate and motivate my patients to improve their oral health care. My Golden rule: to treat others as one would want to be treated.

SERVICES PROVIDED

​

  • Comprehensive Periodontal assessment, Digital X-Rays, Routine Teeth Cleaning, Fluoride Treatment

​

  • Periodontal care (gum disease treatment): known as SRP (scaling and root planning). which is removes plaque, tartar, and stains from the surface of teeth and smooth the rough areas on the roots of teeth to promote healing. Once the gums have been cleaned, they are disinfected with antimicrobials. Further antibiotics may be given for used at home depending on the situation.

  • ​ Desensitizing treatments: this protects the tooth’s nerve from extreme sensations of hot/cold.

​

  • ​Tooth sealants: is also known as fissure sealant and is a procedure meant to partially fill any deep pits and fissures to make teeth easier to clean, thereby protecting against decay and reducing the likelihood of needing fillings later in life.

​

  • Silver Diamine Fluoride:  to stop growth of decay.

​

  • Temporary fillings (ITR): is a preventive technique used to put teeth with cavities into a holding pattern, to slow or stop progression of the disease, and to allay possible discomfort experienced by the patient. ITR is designed to bridge the gap between the point at which a cavity is first diagnosed, generally in a remote setting, and the time it takes a patient to access dental care in a conventional office.
